Orthotic Inserts
Jeffers Chiropractic offers custom and non-custom orthotics and nutritional supplements to support your health between visits. We often fit athletes with orthotics, but many patients with back, chronic knee, and ankle pain benefit from them too, as well as people who stand at work all day, play recreational sports, or simply walk regularly.
Poor foot mechanics can cause or aggravate:
Shin splints
Plantar fasciitis
Ankle pain
Foot pain
Low back pain
Sports Injuries
Types of orthotic inserts
Footmaxx custom orthotics are built from a 3D scan of your foot, done right in our office. The doctor sends the scan in along with custom modifications based on your specific needs, and your orthotics typically arrive within 3 weeks. Once they're in, we'll call you to pick them up so the doctor can confirm fit and make any final adjustments.
Custom Orthotics
We carry Superfeet for their structured, research-backed design, their supportive shape and heel cup construction are backed by biomechanics studies, including work with the University of Calgary Human Performance Lab. We keep a variety of sizes and types on hand in the office, specific to different activities, and the doctor will recommend the right fit for you. If you're an athlete or runner, bring the shoes you perform in to your appointment.
Non-Custom Orthotics
We chose these specific supplement lines deliberately. Standard Process, our primary line, uses whole-food-based ingredients rather than the isolated, synthetic nutrients found in many supplements on the market, giving the body nutrients in a form closer to how they occur naturally.
